HER Health Nurse Provides
Health education sessions for girls and young women. Sessions are available to schools, faith-based groups, and youth organizations and can be held virtually or in person. Full payment is required at booking to secure all sessions.

HER Health Nurse was founded in the summer of 2019 after years of providing free health education sessions to local youth programs and schools including KIPP Renaissance and Delgado Community College Westbank Campus.
HER Health Nurse was awarded a grant from Tulane School of Public Health & NOLA Family Planning Relief. Funds were used to launch a “Reproductive & Sexual Health Kit'' delivery campaign which safely and successfully distributed hundreds of menstrual products and vital reproductive health items to 50 adolescent girls and young women in New Orleans during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Serve as a recurring speaker and expert voice for health presentations on puberty, menstruation, and hygiene.
Serve as a recurring author and expert voice for articles related to adolescent health.
Partnered with Nurse Nikki NP and GeauxGirl! Magazine to curate and distribute 100 “Back to School Hygiene Basics” bags
HER Health Nurse was sponsored by the illustrious Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., and received thousands of menstrual supplies which were successfully distributed to unhoused youth in the Greater New Orleans Metro Area.
Served as a content expert and creator of “Reproductive Life Planning” online course for Mamatoto Village Academy which is a virtual/online educational platform for perinatal health professionals with the goal of enhancing the birth and overall health outcomes of Black birthing people and their families.
Received sponsorship from PERIOD. Movement and KT by Knix and provided over 200 pair of reusable menstrual panties to youth in New Orleans
Provided mentorship to student parents, nursing students, and debuted Reproductive Life Planning Course and course workbook during their annual youth conference.
Hosted 1st Community Period Party and partnered with Camp Oak to provide care and support during their annual overnight summer camp for youth leaders.
